Life's Simple Pleasures

Here is my August Crafters of Faith card.  This is a great group that my friend Kelly started on SCS. This is our 8th month and Lynn gave us this challenge:    Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

This month let's celebrate life's simple pleasures which bless our days with joy and beauty and meaning.

I inked up one of my Stampin' Up sets--Dragonfly Dreams and also used the matching framelits--Detailed Dragonfly.  I use a Kaleidacolor inkpad-Blue Breeze- for the first layer of the dragonfly to give it a variety of color. I used the same ink pad for the sentiment.  I think dragonflies are one of life's simple pleasures, and are just stunning.  I really think they bless our days with joy and and meaning!  I hope others think it is perfect for this challenge.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Lynn, along the others like my card this month!  We are to post between the 7th and 10th of each month, so if you look on my sidebar, you may see other creations.  I know that there will be many posted in the COF thread on SCS too!

Barb, your dragonflies are gorgeous. I am good to get something done on the front of my cards, and you and Kelly go the extra mile and make your inside cards fabulous too. Some of God's most amazing details are in the tinest things in nature that often get overlooked. We can find the pleasures of the handiwork of God in every part of His great creations.
