Hello Hyacinth

I am posting another card that I am made from the card kits from the group on SCS that Heather organized.  I was showered with kits last month, in April and I am posting the cards in the past and upcoming two weeks. In this group, we do not post any wishes of what we want to receive--each person who sends the kit, makes it however they want.  I have received a variety of fun images and so many extras to make many more cards!

I am making the cards in the order I received the kits. This is the 6th card, made from a kit sent by Alicia. This was a fun kit to play with!  I hope I did OK and that Ruby likes my card.

Here is the inside of my card:

I am back with my final card as a guest designer this month for Two Paper Divas!  Where has the month of May gone!!!!  I am sad to see my time as a guest designer end, but I do hope to post more of their great images in the future.  And, who knows, maybe there will be a spot on their team soon....... They are a fantastic company with some awesome images.  They carry both clear stamps and digital images. Here is a link to their store--please go and check them out!  You will not be disappointed!  Their design team posts cards every Wednesday, which is another great day to check out their blog

My card today is using a clear set called String of Stars!  String of Stars is one of Two Paper Divas new releases this month--just in time for Memorial Day and the upcoming 4th of July!

I did a gate fold to highlight the image and I added a Stampin' Up set for the sentiment.  It looks a bit crooked, but it really is straight on the card.......

Here is the card, opened a bit for you to see the fold.  The image is on the left flap and the sentiment is on the right flap.  They overlap when closed!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope you like my card and have enjoyed my month as a guest designer as much as I have. I sure hope you have checked out the Two Paper Divas Blog!  I know you will love many, many of their images!

Debut of Creative Card Chicks!

This is my card for May's Monthly Challenge for the debut of the Creative Card Chicks................  well kind of a debut.  We used to be the Girls of the Baker's Dozen, but have lost a few members so we have a new name!  We also are to post our cards between the 21st and 23rd of each month--so if you check the blogs on my sidebars today or in the next few days, you may see more of these wonderful creations!

This group is a kind of mystery image swap, where we each get an image and additional items to complete the challenge each month.  Suzy is the hostess and sent us an assortment of images from an older Stampin' Up set called Betsy the Beekeeper.  I used two of the images, along with the three bees.  Suzy also sent us the honeycomb embossed background, some ribbons, sequins and die-cut flowers.

I fussy cut the two main images along with the three butterflies.  I added some gold sequins in the middle of the pink flowers and placed some of the larger ones around the card.  I also used both the rose ribbon and gold cord on my card.

Here is the inside of my card:

This was a fun kit and I hope the Suzy and the others like my card.
