My Favorite Stamp Set!

Today is the last day of the month and I am here to welcome you to my Crafters of Faith card! The Crafters of Faith blogging group is a joyous blending of Christian friends ~ joined together to fellowship, share our faith, build friendships and craft together!

This is our May challenge--posted by Jackie:

"For God so loved the world; that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

This is my most favorite verse in the Bible. It speaks to me about love...a great love that will never end. How awesome!!! For the month of May; I would like you ladies to create something out of love. Interpret this anyway you want...it can be a fave stamp set; some of your fave embellishments, maybe even a project for a loved one. There's so many possibilities & I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Have fun & Happy Stamping

So--I went with my favorite stamp set ever!  That is Lovely as a Tree by Stampin' Up. I have used it for so many cards and so many seasons--but I really like to emboss the image.  I really like the card when it sparkles, like this one.

Summer Biking

I have two posts today.  If you are looking for my {PIN}Spirational card, please scroll up................. (or check back in a bit if you are checking in very early today).  Thanks!

It is the 28th of the month, so I am here to welcome you to another round with the Calendar Girls!

Who are the Calendar Girls? We are a group of bloggers who want to have a place where friendships blossom, creativity abounds, and encouragement prevails! In keeping with that dream, this blog group has been created so we will have a place to interact and enjoy being fellow bloggers.
April is our hostess this month and this is what she wrote for us to follow:

My theme is easy I would like you each to make a card representing one thing you hope to accomplish over the summer. It could be a garden, a vacation, a weight loss, whatever, BUT you do have to tell us what you are hoping to accomplish!

I think this Riley stamps is so cute--and wanted to ink him up again.  I used two different widths of khaki ribbon for a different touch.  I also wanted to add some of the bicycle patterned paper to the inside of my card.

So--I have many things I want to accomplish every summer and this one sure is no different!  I love to play in the garden and we do plan to take a bike trip with camping again in September as we did last year with two other friends--I think that still might be considered summer.  But--one thing I know I will do more of this summer is biking in general as we just got a new tandem two weeks and I love it already!  It is such a smooth ride and it does go fast!  So--if you are in SE Wisconsin and see a couple of ladies riding a red tandem bike, give us a shout!

Mystery Image-Blessed Mouse

This card is for a Mystery Swap on SCS. A group of us are doing a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same mystery image, sent to us by the hostess. This swap was created by Forest Ranger—Jeanette and we are now in our second cycle.   Melina chose this image and will swap the cards--then send us the next image,  which I sent to her.  I can't wait to get the swap cards back to see how everyone else used the same image. And then we get to do it all again and I will be the hostess.

I think this is the sweetest little mouse.  I cannot wait to see what everyone else does with this image.

Here is the inside of my card:

Con-grad-ulatons!

This is for the monthly swap that Pam hosts on SCS. Each month we make 10 swap cards and they can be any theme. All of the swappers are wonderful and I have gotten some awesome cards back in past months.

This month, I chose to make a graduation card--and kept it the traditional black and white so others can probably use it.

Here is the inside and the matching envelope.

Making Memories, Celebrating Moments!

It is the 15thof the month and that means another Dueling Darlings challenge. Our hostesses for May are our organizers--Kelly is the boss the Darlings and Jeanette is the Dazzler's leader.
Here is the information that Kelly and Jeanette set up--Since May is traditionally the month of celebrating Mother's Day, many anniversaries, upcoming June weddings, Holy Communions and Confirmations, graduations and so much more, we thought we'd take this time to celebrate the moments that mean so much!  Our theme this month is:
Making Memories, Celebrating Moments!
I loved all of the papers and embellishments that Kelly sent--I wanted to use all of it!  She gave us so many options and I think the image was too cute!

Here is the inside of my card.
