Take the Cake!

This card is for a Mystery Swap on SCS. A group of us do a bi-monthly swap where we all use the same mystery image, sent to us by the hostess. This swap was created by Forest Ranger—Jeanette and we are now in our 45th round!  I was fortunate to be our hostess this month and I sent everyone this cute birthday image. I will swap the cards and send everyone the next image, which Carol picked out!   We then get to do it all again, for round 46, in May!

I really like Whipper Snapper images and this is an oldie, but goodie--one of my favorites!  There are three black brads at the top, but are hard to see in the picture.
Here is the inside of my card:

I hope all of the mystery swappers like my card.  If you check my sidebar on the left, you might see some other swappers who have posted their cards today or in the next few days.

Friday's With The Project Bin

It is Friday, so  that means that I am back with another card for The Project Bin Stamps--A Way With Words!  Every single Friday I will be posting a card made from one of their great photopolymer stamp sets.  So, please plan to come back each week to see what I have created--I think you too will love these great sentiment stamp sets.  And, remember, some of the sets come with matching steel dies! Denise is the owner, founder and creator of these wonderful stamp sets.  The sentiments she has for us to ink up are just perfect for any holiday or time of year.  Please be sure to go and check them out!

But, before I go on with my card, I want to share some exciting news!  Denise was named the Featured Stamper on SCS earlier this week and she is generously giving everyone a 20% in the store this week.  Please click here to see the details.  Be sure to head over there today, as the discount will go away soon!

I am so excited to see what great stamp sets Denise has in mind for the future.  I am sure she will have some wonderful sentiments for us to ink up and for you to consider purchasing!  I just know you too will love creating cards with these stamp sets!!!

If you want to check out more creations from the design team, be sure to check out The Project Bin Blog as often as you can.  Every day there is a different card posted by one of more of the design team members.

For this card, I used a brand new stamp set called Deer Mom. This set comes with 11 great stamps--the cute deer image and 10 sweet sentiments.   It is the perfect set to use for a card for your mom for many occasions.  This sentiment just makes me smile!

Here is the Deer Mom stamp set:

Here is the inside of my card, with another sentiment from the same set:

I hope you have enjoyed my card for The Project Bin. Check back on every week, any day for inspiration for the team but especially on Friday's to check out my cards. I am so excited to be on this wonderful design team!

Dueling Darlings Celebrate Birthdays!

It is the 15th of the month and that means I am showing you a new Dueling Darlings card.  For our March Challenge, Judy and Donna, decided on the theme-Birthdays!   Donna is the one of the Dazzlers and Judy is a Diva, the team that I am on!  Donna is new to our group, so please be sure to go to her blog to welcome her!

Judy sent us two images for us to chose from--along with some coordinating sentiments!  She also included some great patterned papers and wonderful matching embellishments! This sure was a fun card to make!

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Judy and all of the Darlings enjoy my card this month. Please be sure to stop in to see what all of the Divas as well the Dazzlers have created this month.  Tracie and I are up for the April theme, so be sure to check back!

There are a few members who do not have blogs:  Suzy and Terry S who both are on the Diva team, and Terry A, Paola and Debby who are Dazzlers.  You will be able to check out their creations in their SCS gallery, if you click on the link for their name.  All of the others should be found on my left sidebar.  I am sure you will enjoy all of the wonderful creations this month!

Use Your Words!

This is my card for the monthly themed swap that Terry is hosting on SCS.  Each month she will post a theme and we make cards using any stamp set we believe follows that thought. This is our 27th month and the theme for March is "Use Your Words".   We were to make a card using just a sentiment on the card.  I inked up one of my stamp sets from The Project Bin and paired it with some butterfly patterned paper and a butterfly embossed background. I am sure there will be some wonderful cards this month.

Here is the inside of my card:

I hope Terry and the others swappers like my card this month too!  Terry will be posted the March theme two days ago, so be sure to come back in to see what we create!

It is time for another The Three Musketeers post. We are ready to showcase the card we all created with the image that Jeanette sent us for March--for Card #42!   All three of us sure have enjoyed the challenges every month and we hope that it continues for a long time!  I will be up next for the April challenge and I have the image picked out, but it needs to get inked up! Be sure to come back to see what we create!

For our card this month, Jeanette picked this cute image, with three snowmen-women-buddies!  I think she was reminded of our time in January together, with some snow and fun times.  Be sure to check out the matching sentiment on the inside of my card.   I hope Jeanette and Kelly like my card.

Here is the inside of my card--I love the sentiment and I know it is true!

Please check out the other Musketeer's cards.  Here is a link to Jeanette's blog along with Kelly's blog.  I am sure you will not be disappointed and will see a couple of great cards!  They may have posted yesterday or today, so be sure to check out their blog for their card!
